Helping make Des Plaines a greener city one day at a time.
THINK GREEN. ACT GREEN.

Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora) while pretty, is one of the most dreaded invasive plants in the northeastern United States.
OUR MISSION:
To promote sustainability and educate our community on eco-friendly practices to safeguard the future of Des Plaines and our planet.
The City of Des Plaines is developing a Sustainability Plan that will improve environmental quality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and strengthen resilience to climate-related challenges. This survey is designed to gather input from residents to help identify priorities, concerns, and opportunities for action. The survey will be up until June 22.
You can help shape a more sustainable future for Des Plaines in 5 minutes!
