About the event
Come join us from 10-12 at the Des Plaines Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America at 1841 S. River Road, Des Plaines. You will learn about the native plants in the forest preserves and how to identify, harvest, process and sow their seeds. Then we will be sowing seeds in order to aid in improving the biodiversity of the forest! Wear long pants and sleeves, socks and boots and dress for the weather, as it is a rain or shine event. Please register in advance; maximum of 25.
